Randomguy Posted August 26, 2014 Author Share #6 Posted August 26, 2014 Ask SW SW is the new epg? Hmm, he didn't directly answer the repeated wheel questions put to him, so he is evasive enough.

Square Wheels Posted August 26, 2014 Share #9 Posted August 26, 2014 How many watts are enough? How many you got? SW is the new epg? Hmm, he didn't directly answer the repeated wheel questions put to him, so he is evasive enough. I did several times. I've made many hundreds of posts since the last time, I'm not searching for it. No, you never theorized, tested, or quantified anything. You should get on that.
jsharr ★ Posted August 26, 2014 Share #11 Posted August 26, 2014 I used to have a Rockford Fosgate Punch 75 to run the box in the back of my Jeep. 75 was plenty of watts for my needs.
Square Wheels Posted August 26, 2014 Share #12 Posted August 26, 2014 I posted a "scientific" comparison of two identical rides to my sisters. I was amazingly faster with the new wheels. It was a 50+ miles ride, so that should have neutralized a lot of variables, but it also left many other variables. Unless the wheels are tested by an electric motor isolated in a wind tunnel, or some other method that removes all variables, there isn't a way to honestly compare them. Theoretically at high speed I should be faster. I feel faster, but it's probably in my head. I like they way they look, that is real. At the end of the day, it only matters to me. I don't race for myself, or for a team, I ride for fun, exercise and to challenge myself.
Randomguy Posted August 26, 2014 Author Share #13 Posted August 26, 2014 At the end of the day, it only matters to me. Wrong. We are all invested in this, for we are all considering different wheelsets. Btw, two identical rides? Two? TWO? You can do better than that. Where is the letter to your sisters? I prefer a Marshall JTM-H head w/ a 4x12 cabinet....but a JTM 45 or even a Haze 15 would be nice.
