I think the story would be better with more meat behind the slideshow, but it does provide a good starting point for getting some ride adventure ideas.

Crater Lake ride would be fun.

#27 I've ridden this, very nice indeed.

Old Mission Peninsula (M-37), Michigan

This hilly 36-mile trip takes you from Traverse City to Mission Point Lighthouse and passes beautiful vineyards, farmlands, rolling hills, and the Grand Traverse Bay along the way. The Mission Point Lighthouse at the turnaround is located at the 45th parallel, which is halfway between the North Pole and the equator.

It has a little bit of text with each photo, so I took the liberty of granting it "article" status :D 

But the slide show is not stupid. It is a pretty nice little collection of photos and ideas for where to ride, and stirred some good suggestions already from Dennis and Chris and Bikeman.
