Dirtyhip Posted July 9, 2014 Share #1 Posted July 9, 2014 The spiders housing developments are expanding. It may be time to do some destruction. It's just so damn boring to ride slicks. No motivation to do it.
Randomguy Posted July 9, 2014 Share #2 Posted July 9, 2014 The road ride is about savage self-inflicted cruelty or complete recovery, one of the two. You should be so distracted by the first that your mind is totally occupied, and the second should be fun little meandering where where you are smiling and whistling. If I ride I will do hill repeats on it. 1100 ft. per lap. I think I will go for self inflicted cruelty.

Nate Posted July 9, 2014 Share #5 Posted July 9, 2014 why not just go for a ride and enjoy the scenery? Go ride outside the area you usually ride. That's what road bikes are good for...riding a long way on roads.

Dirtyhip Posted July 9, 2014 Author Share #10 Posted July 9, 2014 she only does little rides(about 50 miles a week). Not all miles are created equal. 67 last week, and most of them were dirty. I ride plenty, Roadie.
Square Wheels Posted July 9, 2014 Share #11 Posted July 9, 2014 Not all gears are created equal either. You might have a ton of climbing, but don't forget you have a frisbee for a big cog.

Former member Posted July 9, 2014 Share #15 Posted July 9, 2014 Thank you. Sox is just hating because he only gets to ride slicks. 50 miles(round trip) is a very respectable commute. I think SW's commute is about 60 miles.
