  1. He’s dead, and that’s all we need to know.
  2. I bet his pregnant wife would have wanted to know. So Darwin didn’t win, but neither did the Stringers.
  3. Despite these warning, we still saw numerous people wearing flip flops to hike down a rugged, rocky trail with young kids with them.
  4. What beer style was in the keg?
  5. Alan Stringer, 40, of Huntington Beach, was reported missing Monday evening when he didn't return home after a hike, the Inyo County Sheriff's Office said in a statement. Investigators found his body Thursday at the top of the Darwin Glacier, which is near the base of Mount Darwin. Stringer did not tell anyone his hiking plans or potential routes, and authorities said he'd recently bought hiking equipment and took mountaineering course.
  6. Butch, per DH’s coworker, so I assume @jsharr’s balding qualifies.
  7. You may be a millennial. Do you like Avocado toast?
  8. Wears Flannel, bikes to work, goes to the library.... Do you eat avocado toast? My son says that’s a defining characteristic of a millennial.
  9. I don’t have an issue with either generation. Some funny hair cuts, beards and lots of flannel in the millennial group, but I don’t really care. I don’t understand the gauges, but I don’t have to.
  10. I was hoping for a methylamine thread.
  11. Sooo... where does she get her hair cut?
  12. When I had Guinness on tap in my basement, it sometimes found its way into my water bottles on group rides.
  13. I don’t think he ever owned a Civic, and I think these birds were for eatin’, not egg laying.
  14. Yes. With very strong correction powers you start running into more limitations on frame style, but otherwise you can get anything you want in a progressive sunglass.
  15. I would die if I tried to bike to work. There’s just no safe way to do it. While I agree with the principal of minimizing debt, spending 1/10th of gross annual income seems impossible to buy a reliable automobile that is essential for transportation to get to work. I think the author of the article has forgotten this aspect, as he laments buying the Mercedes G500 SUV instead of the condo in San Francisco, a $30,000-$40,000 car isn’t a frivolous luxury purchase.
  16. Non-High Definition television on your HD TV and wonder "How did we watch TV this way?"
  17. Surely this isn’t his first behavioral outburst during dialysis? He wasn’t premedicated?
  18. A refreshing Guinness is good after skating.
  19. That’s the problem with GMOs, now they put the gluten right IN the wheat!
