I was at the record store when the first album was released. I had just started getting acquainted with Doug Sahm and knew who Freddie Fender was. I fell in love with that album!

My friends back in Grand Island were sharing rain totals for the last 24 hours of 4-5 inches. They desperately need it, but that’s a lot all at once.

I’m liking Apple CarPlay in that I can tell her to switch artists while I’m driving. Yesterday I switched between Lucinda Williams, Southern Culture on the Skids and Drive By Truckers just by asking Siri. This morning I have been listening to the Shiny Ribs station on Spotify.

WFH Friday. Saturday - Cars and Coffee at my office. Family coming over to put up the pergola. Grilling burgers for them and probably watch the saved version of the Husker spring game. Sunday- ride in the AM. WOW wants to go to Cooper’s Hawk for her April tasting and pick up her bottles.

Never all white. We had a couple calicos with more white than markings. Several gray and white cats from the farm.

Some laptops have a little paper clip sized hole with a reset button underneath. Hold the power button while the paper clip is pressing the button. It’s saved several Lenovo laptops at our office.

Former client was our mayor’s law firm. One of their daughters went to school for linguistics and wanted to go to China to immerse herself in the culture. The ability to translate between English and Chinese pays well. They asked the State Department what precautions they should install on her laptop. They advised to just buy a cheap laptop to take to China, then recycle it when she returns. They said the Chines spy at such a granular level in the PCs that they only know what they have been caught doing. Beyond that, was anybody’s guess. Given that, I choose not to use TikTok. Oh that and I have no use for it.
