JerrySTL ★ Posted January 13, 2021 Share #2 Posted January 13, 2021 My first Edge was a 705. I have a 530 now. I had the same Forerunner as the but have two newer versions now including a 35.
goldendesign Posted January 13, 2021 Share #3 Posted January 13, 2021 I just did a giveaway of my OG 405 with HR and wheel sensor kit on reddit. Still runs great.
MickinMD ★ Posted January 13, 2021 Share #4 Posted January 13, 2021 I loved my 305. It was MUCH better and accurate for me than the Edge 510 while walking or running. I used the instructions posted online by someone on how to replace the battery when it died. Eventually I got the Edge 510, but only because I wanted a "dashboard" on my handlebar I could read while riding.

It is sort of mentioned in the video, but years ago, I remember changing my Edge to check and record its position more often (uses more battery), and it seemed, from the video that when he was on the running track, the 305 dominated the newer watch but mainly because the guy had not turned on the super accurate tracking for the new watch, so it was taking measurements less often (less accurate? less precise? ). Something to consider?
