Square Wheels Posted October 7, 2014 Share #51 Posted October 7, 2014 Let me help you out, SquareHeadOne, you used cauliflower. That's your problem. You never get mushy crust with real dough. Straighten up and fly right. Just looking for more gluten free options.
Ralphie ★ Posted October 8, 2014 Share #52 Posted October 8, 2014 I like just a cheese pizza with jalepenos. EVERYTHING is better when topped with sliced jalapenos.

You shouldn't put too many on, that is a rookie mistake. The sesame seed is a subtle topping.

I've used sesame seeds on a crust before. When I made a cheeseburger pizza, I brushed the edge of the crust with butter and sprinkled the seeds around it. They toasted up nicely as the crust baked. Pokey Posted October 8, 2014 Share #57 Posted October 8, 2014 847 439 2000 Lou Malnati's Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. Make sure you order it with the butter crust. The sausage and spinach one is quite good.

Randomguy Posted October 8, 2014 Share #62 Posted October 8, 2014 Lots of folks slam it...the deep dish type pizza. But when done right, it's very very good. Agreed. Having lived in Chicago, I can tell you that it can be spectacular, especially when you really want to go to town on something. I generally prefer thin crust pizzas, but I would have some now if I had access to a real Chicago-style pizza (or hot dog, while I am at it). Randomguy Posted October 8, 2014 Share #63 Posted October 8, 2014 My crust for tonight's pizza is made. Traditional DH style crust today. I will top with spinach, baby portobello mushrooms, and red bell pepper. I might also go get a jalapeno and some pineapple, too, not sure yet.
