The seed can sit for years, but get the right moisture, temperature, and dirt, and a monster emerges 

I thought I had plenty of room between the plants, but they sure filled it up 

I better find some energy to process tomatoes, they are starting to ripen

I just picked tomatoes and there was one bigass red one that was damaged so would not keep, so I had to triage it - it is delicious!

Our tomatoes are similar... don't know what it is; other plants in our garden seem to grow to average sizes, but the tomato plants looked at me and said "ha! you think you can keep me within this silly cage?  Nuts to that, I'm going way over there to say hi to the cucumbers."
