Popular Post bikeman564™ Posted March 10 Popular Post Share #1 Posted March 10 There was 8 of us, and this is the first time we've all hung out The hosts made a couple dishes, there were snacks, and we got a few pizzas from a local place. Good times were had by all. So much so that we agreed we should do this again 4 3
Ralphie ★ Posted March 10 Share #2 Posted March 10 Great! Our neighborhood was never all that cohesive. My one BIL’s is the opposite, getting a band for I think it is Fathers Day and even getting the road blocked off. 2

There is also one street that does a halloween block party. The street is known as Pumpkin Lane in October 1

groupw Posted March 10 Share #5 Posted March 10 Our cul de sac is pretty friendly. 4 of the 6 houses speak regularly. One has a new resident I have only seen once. He replaced a family that absolutely refused to socialize…at least the men. The house next to it is owned by some Canadians. They have only been here once since the pandemic lifted. Seemed nice enough. Last spring our neighbor organized a get together in the middle of the cul de sac. I was 3 days from my surgery after the wreck so I socialized a bit, but I didn’t have a lot of energy. We need to do one again.
Scrapr ★ Posted March 10 Share #6 Posted March 10 Last couple years we have had a happy hour with the neighborhood. We have 7 houses around a small park. So we invite everyone plus a couple of "alley" neighbors. We have it in the little park. Last year it went 3 or 4 hours. Much hilarity was made. 1 1
