maddmaxx ★ Posted May 4, 2018 Share #3 Posted May 4, 2018 10 on the bike, still slow but faster than the last two days. This was my first ride on the gravel Airline Trail in almost a year. The day began with a 2 mile walk. I think the 10 was a bit of an over reach for my 3rd day back. I was really struggling when I got back to the trail head. It's like preseason camp and two a days. It hurts like hell but you get back into shape eventually. 1

That's it. At the start of the season I think frequency is more important than distance. The latter just thoughtlessly happens
az_cyclist Posted May 4, 2018 Share #6 Posted May 4, 2018 20 on a lunchtime ride. I could add 2.5, though. Had to take the Jeep to the shop, and put bike rack on, dropped off the jeep, and rode home
Razors Edge ★ Posted May 4, 2018 Share #7 Posted May 4, 2018 Commuter miles in the heat. Riding home, I just went slow to keep from cooking. It might take a week or two to adapt to hotter weather, but a cold front is coming through soon, so I'm not gonna make much progress this weekend Tom
Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted May 4, 2018 Share #8 Posted May 4, 2018 22 mile morning ride with Mike. North Arlington is good. 1:18, 16.7 avg.
