pedalphile Posted October 24, 2018 Share #1 Posted October 24, 2018 I was let off lightly with no need to feel cut up about it, the visit to dermatology to have a thing on my back removed for examination: it has disappeared of its own volition. Result, so I immediately repaired to my local watering hole, the Francis Newton, which has a beer fest in progress, a pint of Riders on the Storm from local brewer Abbeydale, and again, all still seems right with the world today, Cheers! 2

Chuffed is about right, mate. A little flushed now, too, as half the beer is in me.

Longjohn ★ Posted October 24, 2018 Share #7 Posted October 24, 2018 I have had that happen. I made an appointment one time with something that wouldn’t go away. By the time of the appointment it was gone so I canceled. Most of the time I’m not so lucky.

Ja I hear it’s all wine there, wine all the way, never runs out either, if it’s low they just make more out of water: brilliant ?
BuffJim Posted October 24, 2018 Share #9 Posted October 24, 2018 Bar I was in last night had a sign Free Beer Tomorrow. Can't wait to get out of work and head over there. Drown my sorrows for not winning the lottery last night.

BuffJim Posted October 24, 2018 Share #11 Posted October 24, 2018 The only time I went to one, it was mediocre. They closed down a few weeks later. Probably cause they weren't doing the Free Crab thing.

I will agree it is mediocre, due to probably being frozen and shipped to the store from some warehouse.
