  1. That makes 2 of us. I don't think many of my brothers and sisters did either.
  2. Glad it went so well. Hope she heals fast.
  3. You forgot to give it a rating. I think this one deserves at least a 9.75
  4. I guess it has started since I am retired. But I do have 2 big days of work rolling the lawn at the church if the weather permits.
  5. They are at the accountant for final review. Looks like we will be getting a little back from federal and have to pay about the same amount in to the state. Our estimates were pretty close. Less than $20 off on either one.
  6. If the weather cooperates I will be rolling the lawn at the church tomorrow and Saturday. Sunday morning sunrise breakfast at church then greeting people and assisting with baptism. Sunday afternoon going to our daughter's for dinner. Put new bearings in the roller today so it is ready to go when the rain stops and it drys off enough.
  7. Whenever possible I try to avoid using the commercial airlines. Their pilots are pigs.
  8. Any airport without a grass strip is NOT on my favorite list.
  9. this is a very nice place to fly. 1100 ft long strip. But be careful. 30 ft high power line along the road at the south end and 60 ft trees on the north. I flew in and out yesterday. Also rolled it yesterday so it is nice and smooth. It's been rolled twice this spring. Best final approach from the south is about 10 degrees off runway line between the houses. From the north about 15 degrees off over the pond. The biggest planes we have had land her are friends Cessna 170 and 180. Flew in from Wasilla, AK after EAA Airventure last year. They told me I have more than enough length. I wonder if @Wilbur, our favorite flying pig would try it.
  10. Prayers for her and your family. Hope everything goes well.
  11. Hey, we are talking about towns not your personal life.
  12. When @Longjohn was here we didn't ride by the cheese house. We were within sight of it..... about 1/4 mile away. If you want a meet up and ride in that area there are good places to stay. It can be arraigned . Lots of things to see and do. But not many hills to climb. Several mountain bike trails within 1/2 hour drive. Gravel roads or paved roads to ride. Road apples to run over or dodge. (I think @Longjohn knows what those are). Several good ice cream shops to stop at. Do you want 100 miles per day for 3 days in a row? Or short easy rides with a lot of visiting?
  13. Cheese is good for you. It is made from milk and milk is good for you.
  14. I have both the Viscacha and smaller Pika seat bags. I had the Pika for summer use but when I made the winter trip I couldn't get everything for winter camping in the smaller one. The Pika is on the bike in that picture along with the handlebar harness, 2 salsa anything cages on the fork and the frame bag. I also have 2 mountain feed bags and the gas tank bag that aren't on for that trip. That trip was in August so I had the light down bag and a bivy sack. Was going very light that time.
  15. Revelate bags. I like them. Planning to use them on the Pittsburgh to Washington trip.
