    Peak infectious period seems to be 2 days before symptoms through 5 days after onset. You can probably detect viral partials two weeks later or beyond and test positive but probably won’t be infectious.

    I disagree. You keep meat frozen for longer-term storage, but bring it to room temperature and then prepare it for eating. I think similar will be done for the day’s vaccine supply.

    It’s not going into anyone’s arm at -40. The cooling issue is for shipping and transportation, not preparation for use.

    I assume it’s like most vaccines and put into the muscle, not vein. And will be brought to room temperature before injected.

    Have you heard an estimate as to a time line for you? I am guess late December for us. None too soon for my likes. This has been a scary month of (hopefully) near misses despite super-high vigilance.

    I got exposed again on Saturday. Same “low risk” exposure as my last, as I was 6’ away and masked. But I’ll get tested on Wednesday and, if negative, again on Saturday.
