Wow. Thanks, but it's really no big deal. You do what you have to when friends are in need. I did dangle a little carrot in front of him to help with recovery. Stuck is a tall fellow and I just happen to have a frame that will fit him, I told him if he can make it back on to two wheels, I will build up the 61 cm Medici El Dorado frame I have hanging up in my garage and deliver it myself. We explained the whole n+1 concept to his wife; she looked a little scared...

Got in a short ride on Saturday morning. Went to the hospital and saw Stuckk Sunday. That's about it...

I just go up. I'm a professional slacker now...

Just got back from the hospital. Stuck is doing much better. He was moved from the ICU to a regular room last night. He's in much better shape than I expected. When I got there he was sitting up and eating, surrounded by his wife and daughters. His aunt and parents showed up as well. It was nice to see happy, smiling faces in the room. They seemed happy to meet one of his "imaginary friends"... He will be released from this hospital tomorrow, but may not be going home right away. If they cannot arrange proper medical transport to get him home for further treatment, then he will be moved to a care facility here until that gets worked out. I offered to load him up in the motor home and drive hm, but they won't let him go without medical personnel escorting him. Oh well, it was worth a shot...

I'm going to try to swing by the hospital tomorrow to see him. I love meeting forumites, but not like this...
