Mr. Beanz Posted September 28, 2021 Share #1 Posted September 28, 2021 My two main roadies, 23 years old and 7 years old. Of course the 7 year old was a frame/fork warranty but I actually bought the bike as a Lemond back in 2005. So most of the components other than the wheels are from 2005. The Cannondale is 23 years old but I built the wheels back in 2010'ish. And replaced the original STI and derailleurs back in 2005'ish. I can't see spending $5000 for a new Madone when mine works perfectly fine. My 1998 Cannondale is still a joy to ride so why replace it? Some of my friends get new bike every year or other year.. No thanks, doesn't make that much of a difference to me to swap bikes. My style is just ride my bike. No race so I don't need light wheels, lighter frames, blah blah blah! I just ride so my bikes are fine and well maintained. 2005 components, 2014 Madone Frame. 1998 Cannondale Caad3

ChrisL Posted September 28, 2021 Share #5 Posted September 28, 2021 My Bianchi is an 09, I got the Giant Anthem MTB in 18 & my primary ride now is the Ritchey I had built up earlier this year. WOChrisL’s Bianchi is pushing 10 years, 2014 I think.
