That little thing can be bought for $200 but that price includes a 4.3'" flat screen receiver/display along with the small transmitter. People who fly as well as the OP movie however probably purchase the $99 dollar version that they fly with their regular computerized transmitter ($160 and up) and with a set of FPV goggles ($200 and up). The drone is legal without an FAA drone license but the camera/transmitter being a 25 mw unit legally requires and FCC technician grade or higher ham license. I know very few people who have the first and no one who has the second. I have the first and I'm scheduled to take the test for the second early next month. In addition there is my AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) license that I need to fly in a couple of sports domes near here in the winter and at any club field in the summer. That also includes a hefty insurance policy if something bad happens. The one pictured in my hand without the camera installed requires no license at all.
