Airehead Posted September 30, 2017 Share #1 Posted September 30, 2017 Reallly, it was. We hosted a conference today with a super bunch of presenters including this Havard scientist who was a fabulous speaker on a very complex topic.

Thaddeus Kosciuszko Posted September 30, 2017 Share #3 Posted September 30, 2017 I have only the most vague idea of what they'd even be talking about. So instead I'll ask why did they capitalize all the significant words on the sign behind the doctor except for the words 'visual' and 'impairment'?

I am pretty sure the ack of capital v was a typo and it made me like her better. In a nutshell--- CVI is when the eyes work but the message doesn't get to the brain. New studies suggest that if we intervene early with high quality services specifically geared at CVI, there is significant improvement in processing.. Ocular strategies are not effective. The window of opportunity is short, their is a national shortage of people with skill in this area, and most children don't even get to see a teacher of vision until age three or older. Not good. donkpow Posted September 30, 2017 Share #6 Posted September 30, 2017 I thought the topic was "riveting", not "CVI". What goes here?
