Popular Post Further Posted October 22, 2017 Popular Post Share #1 Posted October 22, 2017 Heading up to N.Y. I know I go to State College, and then I'll look at a map. Half way to State College my wife checks the route on the phone GPS. It says to backtrack a bit and take a different route. Wife wants to follow the GPS, so that's 2 against 1 Ninety miles of twisty, deer infested, game lands roads later we popped out on I 80. Probably saved 8 miles of distance, and lost 2 hours of time. And then things got worse. Finally arrive at the hotel in Corning N.Y. Now karma is kicking in. They can't find the reservation. Desk clerk tells me I was there on the 8'th and didn't make another reservation. I tell him we made reservation on the 8'th for today. He looks concerned, tells me no room at the inn, sorry. We got a room at another hotel, close by but not handicap accessible It was a long day But we're still married, and nobody died, or even bled....much
maddmaxx Posted October 22, 2017 Share #2 Posted October 22, 2017 Sounds like the settings on your GPS are for shortest distance, not fastest route.

Actually I meant to sound like Sylvester Stallone's Rocky. Oops, earlier in the sentence. Hey, either way is acceptable, but ";" is preferred.
