Nip has moved to another home.

We now have a 2-year old female Kelpie named Tag. We made the trade late this afternoon.  Nip was too strong of a dog for our needs, and the previous owner and friend will work with him and take him to sheep dog trials.  The friend, that lives about 2 miles from us, raises Kelpies, so we traded.  We'll take some photos and post them later. Tag and Duke seem to like each other, but she has not met Lad.

He has a lot of drive, and it would take too long to get him to the point he would be useful on our small operation.  He was only 11 months old, and the prior owner was aware this might be a concern.  So she worked with him during the time that we had him and decided it was best to direct his energy and talents toward being a trial dog.  It is nice we were working with a very helpful and honest lady.

I had the same problem when I first started work. The guys just took me into the locker room and beat the shit out of me until I got in line.
