I always thought that a "roll of the dice" was chance personified.  A totally random, equal and fair method of selecting a number or outcome.

Now I find out from watching some stupid game show, that when two dice are rolled, some numbers are much more likely to appear than others.  

This is very unsettling.  If you can't even trust a simple pair of dice, who can you trust?

No.  I've never gambled.  Apparently, people who gamble know all about the evil dice and how they favor some numbers over others.

Because the of combinations. For example 7 has the highest probability because of: 1+6, 2+5, 3+4, 6+1, 5+2, 4+3

Stick to one. A die, not dice!

Of course there are loaded dice were certain numbers will come up much more frequently. One of the reason that I never got into barracks dice games while in the military.
