MickinMD ★ Posted November 10, 2019 Share #10 Posted November 10, 2019 Every once in a while I get the urge for tomato soup. I put some condensed tomato soup in the cart while grocery shopping with my sister, then we passed the 14.5 oz. cans of "Amy's Organic Tomato Bisque Soup," $2.32 at Walmart. I pointed to it and said, "Remember how good that tomato bisque soup was during the jousting at 'Medieval Times' - even though Medieval Europe didn't have tomatoes or the potatoes we got with the main course?" She asked, "Why don't you get it instead of the condensed tomato soup." I pointed at the price and she asked, "What? Do you think you're going to take the extra buck it with you?" So I bought it, loved it, and have it with saltines for lunch every so often. In fact, thinking of it makes me hungry - I think I'll have it while watching late Sunday football - I had haddock, scalloped potatoes and green beans for an early dinner while enjoying the Ravens total destruction of the Bengals. Kirby Posted November 10, 2019 Share #11 Posted November 10, 2019 I hope you had the proper, original saltines and not the horrid saltless ones.
