  1. Wonder where the recalls for your 2005 Prius are going?
  2. I don't see why. The aircraft should be a lot lighter.
  3. Does the doggie do the ruff drafts?

    Mannix

That car was a custom built 1967 Oldsmobile Toronado customized into a roadster by George Barris, builder of TV's Batmobile from the 1960s Batman ABC series, since the producers wanted a convertible and Oldsmobile never produced an open-topped Toronado.

    Mannix

The poor guy got beat up almost every show. His secretary Peggy Fair, actress Gail Fisher, was one of the first black women to play a major role on an American TV show.
  6. 17.1 miles on the road bike. I could have ridden further, but when I reached down for my water bottle, it wasn't there for some reason.
  7. Nope. I don't need cheap crap.
  8. They changed the Land O Lakes butter packaging. Many of you may remember how you could manipulate the old packaging.
  9. #2. #1 If #2 doesn't work out. Maybe rent a small, local storage locker for the bikes and other things.
  10. I wasn't so lucky. Kitty liked to sit under car engines when it was cold. She often had grease and oil on her. Washing a cat with claws is quite an adventure. I'd wrap her up in a towel and wash part of her at a time.
  11. I noticed that one of the menu boards is blank. Thankfully.
  12. 17.1 miles on the road bike. Averaged 16.5 mph which for this old guy was fast. I was also nearly as fast yesterday. The weather was great both days; however, I just started a new blood pressure medication. I wonder if that is helping. My BP is about 10 less the last few days.
  13. Yes. A British Leyland Princess II. It was a very weird car with the engine and transmission sharing the same oil pan. Hydraulic suspension so no springs or shoch absorbers. Mine was whiter than the one shown below.
  14. Personalized license plates are silly.

    Manic

I had a cycling buddy who was manic depressive. He was rather subdued until he changed doctors and prescriptions. Suddenly he was manic all the time. He became dangerous to ride with. He also was on pain medications for a bad car accident and used recreational drugs. Things got so bad that he once pulled up for a ride and when he opened the hatch to his car, smoke came out. I let out the air of my tire and told him that I'd catch up after fixing my 'flat'. He put stickers on about every surface of both his car and bikes including almost all the rear and side windows of the car. He turned his home and yard into 'artwork' which was really just lots of junk in a quiet residential neighborhood. He made local headlines about it and even spent time in jail. It was very sad. He died somewhat young, but I never found out why.
  16. If the federal government wants to ban it for government people and contractors, sure. However, banning it for other people won't pass the First Amendment. Also, the law won't do much. People will find out about private VPNs to get around it. In fact, the unintended consequence of the law might be to make it more difficult for law enforcement to catch actual criminals (or just spy on people just for the heck of it).
  17. Rain started in the St. Louis area at 2PM Central Daylight time.
  18. I'm leaning more towards Shiftless Jay being the genius of this story.
  19. I woke up at 6:30 am because we had an alarm clock set to go off then. WoJSTL has physical therapy at 7:30 am. Otherwise I'd probably had slept a while longer.
