I was reading that the USPS plans to change the intent to deliver first class mail as quickly as they have been. Basically slowing down your mail by a day or two.

Mine was an apartment complex with multiple units. You can't shut every one down for one unit. I didn't like it but it had to be done. No valve was installed when I got there and I needed to work on the furnace.

I installed a gas line valve without turning off the gas. Just held my thumb over the pipe.
