Road Runner Posted May 17, 2021 Share #1 Posted May 17, 2021 On the game show America Says that aired tonight, they revealed America's four most beloved pig characters (based on their poll, of course). They were, in order: 1) Porky Pig 2) Wilbur 3) Babe 4) Peppa Pig (whoever that is) I didn't know Wilbur was this well liked! Miss Piggy was ignored for some reason. But I was very surprised and quite saddened that Arnold did not make the list. 3

Razors Edge ★ Posted May 17, 2021 Share #11 Posted May 17, 2021 If the polling audience is old folks, this sort of makes sense. If it is young folks, it is obviously way way way off. It would likely be: Who is Porky Pig? Who is Wilbur? Who is Babe? And then a, "Yeah, Peppa Pig is great!"

I'm 51, so that's my era, and I was on the backside of that. My younger siblings were not of the Loonie Tunes era, and so a real sample of the US population would definitely not be rating Porky very high.
