WOW, this could crush Nate's psyche.  What was all that blabbing he was doing earlier about being liked for this and liked for that?  What's wrong with that boy?

I performed Bach for 1500 people not 20 days ago, so I know exactly how awesome I am :nodhead:

actually, yes, Bach played Lute. Guitar didn't exist in the way we know it today in the 1720s

He wrote 4 suites for Lute, and transcribed some of his keyboard works (like the prelude and fugue BWV 999 and 1000)  His dad was a lute player, and that is how he came to know the instrument

Interesting...... I am not cultured like some here.  I did not know this.  Bach puts me to sleep.
