Nate Posted September 30, 2013 Share #2 Posted September 30, 2013 yes, the first of the chilly evenings out in the country is always exciting. Last night I killed a big old spider the size of my hand. That's what I get for living near water. a couple nights ago I killed a mouse that got in the house. ...I mean I killed him with a hockey stick! it was about as up close and personal as a mouse fight can get. But then I had the screen door open, so I just got his carcass on my stick blade and sent him out the door with a wrist shot. No muss, no fuss
Square Wheels Posted September 30, 2013 Share #3 Posted September 30, 2013 I love sleeping in the cold weather, but it seems like summer never even arrived.
Road Runner Posted September 30, 2013 Share #4 Posted September 30, 2013 It's cool here today and a little windy. I'm fixing some chili for dinner. Cool weather and chili just seem to go together.
smudge ★ Posted September 30, 2013 Share #5 Posted September 30, 2013 We barely had any summer weather this year too. We had a couple separate weeks that were fairly hot; otherwise, I was always debating which underarmor shirt to put on to go cycling. Went out yesterday, and the red (sugar maple) trees are super red. There are a few yellows, but that's about it. Maybe the goofy weather has the trees confused too. They are either in full color, or haven't started yet. Definitely colder at night now.
