Longjohn ★ Posted March 23, 2019 Share #3 Posted March 23, 2019 I try and keep the deer away, they will destroy a garden or flower bed. We had a buck rub all the bark off the trunk of a weeping cherry tree we had in the yard. My Amish neighbors do a good job thinning the herd every hunting season. maddmaxx ★ Posted March 24, 2019 Author Share #6 Posted March 24, 2019 The deer have been pretty well behaved in my yard. Maybe it's because I feed them. Years ago when we didn't feed them they ate an apple tree (small). Back when this picture was taken womaxx used to talk to them and they wouldn't run. Sometimes when she went out with food they would wait just inside the tree line and as soon as she turned her back to come back in they would head in for the food without waiting for her to get inside.
