D'oh!

We've been getting a lot of rain lately, the basement has been soggy, the current dehumidiifier is about dead.  Got home last weekend to find water in the front of the basement.  Which means water overflowed the gutters and came in the front window.  Sure enough, living room floor was wet.  Cleaned everything up.

Dang, the floor in the basement just will NOT dry out!  It hasn't been raining that hard!

Bought a new dehumidifier last night.  Had to wait out a massive downpour before crossing the parking lot to get it in the truck

The floor is still wet.  The living room floor is puddled, big puddle.  But it doesn't look like it came in the windows.  Hey, look, the portable AC unit in the living room is missing a drain plug!

OK problem solved, the new dehumidifier should finally get the basement dry.  This one even has a pipe and a long hose so I can put it near the spill and pump into my sink.

Until the pump starts and yanks the hose out of the sink and now the front of the basement is pretty dry but there's a huge puddle by the sink
