Popular Post smudge ★ Posted October 18, 2019 Popular Post Share #1 Posted October 18, 2019 Stopped at Menards in Marquette on my way to camp. Had to get trim for the corners of the shed. Need to cover the gaps where the siding panels meet. The trim was in 16' lengths, so I used the chop saw they have to cut the trim pieces to 8' lengths. Also picked up some of these vent chutes to divert the wind away from me when I'm trying to sleep in my loft. I think they will help for now. Tomorrow I will paint the trim pieces and then install them. 4

So you asked for 8 feet! ?
Rattlecan ★ Posted October 18, 2019 Share #3 Posted October 18, 2019 Isn't there a big sign there that says customers are not to use the saw? Mind you, I have been tempted to go to the tool department and grab a bolt cutter (AKA universal key) to defeat the padlock on the saw at the local home depot after waiting way too long for a helpful ASSociate to come along. Longjohn ★ Posted October 18, 2019 Share #4 Posted October 18, 2019 Lowe’s won’t let you cut anything in the store. They say it’s their insurance company rule. If you bring your own saw you can cut stuff in the parking lot. 16 footers are hard for some people to haul.

smudge ★ Posted October 18, 2019 Author Share #9 Posted October 18, 2019 Hee hee... No. Order it, pay for it, go out back to fetch it.
Longjohn ★ Posted October 18, 2019 Share #10 Posted October 18, 2019 I bought a bundle of door trim one time at a very reasonable price. I didn’t get around to installing it on the doors for about a year. When I cut the bundle open I noticed each piece of trim had a price sticker the same price as the bundle. Oops, it made me feel guilty but I didn’t have anything to do with the price mixup and it would be difficult to explain a year later.
