  1. I saw part of the 30 for 30 show as well. The effect on the Soviet hockey program was interesting.
  2. Those are usually good phones, but the stock batteries that are shipped with them die a lot sooner than they should. A good quality new battery back for it should solve the issue.
  3. Are you sure they sent you a NEW phone? Most companies don't do that, they send out a "refurbished" phone instead. There is a reason that the phones they get returned for "refurbishment" were sent in to begin with.
  4. 46 miles, 0 feet. Should have 101 miles and 101 feet after Saturday.
  5. This isn't the first time this has happened on that river. The problem is that the pipeline company doesn't want to spend the money necessary to build a section of pipeline that is either buried deep enough below the river or runs over the river on a large enough structure to keep if from being affected by the river scouring and/or ice jams.
  6. The current rumor is that it will be free for a year to get a lot of people using it ... then it will move to an annual subscription model where if you don't pay up, your computer won't boot. No free "upgrade" for me, thanks, if those are the actual plans.
  7. I have short and long sleeve versions. They are re-released periodically, and still popular.
  8. Total scam. The "extra" $650 will be in the form of a check that looks good but is actually fake. By the time your bank finds out, you are out a bike AND some serious money. Just say NO.
  9. In my area: June 15th - first day of Spring July 15th - first day of Summer August 15th - first day of Fall September 15th - first day of Winter
  10. I think that would be a phishing tournament.

    People suck

SHe needs to have off-site backup of any computer files. A motion-activated webcam that auto uploads would be good also.
  12. Internet providers could easily and rapidly kill off Cable TV, Dish, and DirecTV if they provide decent content at a resaonable price. Someone will do it in the next few years. There is just too big an opportunity to pass up.
  13. They guessed wrong again this year on what the prevalent flu strains would be, so the shot has a less than 50% chance of being effective.
  14. 2048 for 2014. August and September monsoon rained out at least another 250.
  15. First one used - PDP 11 with 8K of magnetic core memory. It is in a museum now. Current - assembled from parts LGA2011v3 6 core with 16GB of memory and 8 drives.

  17. Major improvement - looks good.
  18. Wells Fargo is definitely one of the worst banks. A credit union or a local or regional bank would actually provide customer service and not have a fee for everythong and everything with a fee.
  19. Petite - The link below has various instructions on how to make a screen capture of the error. You can then paste the screen capture into a Word document (select Paste Special, Bitmap). You could also use something like PrintKey2000. https://www.google.com/search?complete=0&hl=en&source=hp&q=windows+7+screen+capture&gbv=2
  20. It can sometimes take a few here also: http://www.sewellscenics.com/PCpictures/cdapages/cda15.html
  21. Wait until the hackers get access to the system.
