  1. Should have called me! I've got about 100 wooden hangers that I leave - empty - in the guest bedrooms' closets. I find, for me nowadays, the uniform plastic ones are best. Only on a few of my suits or other "heavier" clothing do the wooden ones work better.
  2. Much less an issue in a modern US household where we generally have - at least - a 1:1 ratio of vehicles to drivers. With the usual stats backing it up, EVs make too much sense for most if not all folks to consider for their next car (not truck - but evolving).

  5. Yep - Summer in the DC/Baltimore area. @Dottles is still shoveling snow.
  6. Reading this thread, I think a fiber supplement may be in order. Metamucil or the like.
  7. Mocha was clearly loved, and, from that photo, quite CUTE Sorry for the loss of such a lovely little creature.
  8. Move Free Ultra/Costco Triple Action Joint Health is what I take and it works well for me. The Costco version is 110 pills for $25 on sale, so under a quarter a day. Vitamins/minerals are usually of the C, D, Zinc, Calcium, etc types.
  9. The most regressive tax? Yay for the little guy! A better way to screw them
  10. Where would we get @Dottles useless statistics from if there were no humans to create them? You'd be miserable without miserable statistics to worry about!
  11. Fast???? Try never gonna happen.
  12. Rentals, condos, and the like will usually have some rules to prevent PANDEMONIUM! It seems other than "no dogs", a popular one is "small breeds only" - say up to 25lbs. This makes some sense, but obviously, ALL situations really boil down to the OWNERS not the PETS. Shitty owners ruin everything, and a dog, cat, or fish really only serve as reflections of the owners and are pretty much blameless.
  13. Dude, it is SUMMER here. I need that cross breeze for most of the evening and into the night. Usually, I will trade the open sliding door for an open guest room window, but the sliding glass door is better as it pulls air from one end and floor to the opposite end and floor. Maximum air cross flow.
  14. I saw this yesterday, and it's nice to "rediscover" Taylor. I imagine, for many athletes, that VERY short time in the sun gives can give them a much different perspective on life. Some, without reflection, might either continue on the same path of the sport - player to coach sort of thing - or others go from player to lost (depression, substance abuse, bankruptcy, etc) that we have seen plenty of times. It is the ones who - especially from smaller sports - transition somewhat gracefully to new things where they take what they learned from sports - good and bad - and use it to move into a new area where they can shine or at least be happy.
  15. It's an Italian coffee company - Segafredo Zanetti - and I've only ever seen it as one word. "Freddo" is "cold" in Italian, but a "cold SEGA" console is odd???
  16. Wordle 299 3/6* ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟩 ⬜⬜🟨🟨🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  17. Watching the baking shows, they are either mincing meats or mincing fruit & veg. How much mincing do you do? And how do you decide when to mince or grate something like garlic? Grating is quicker and easier, but mincing seems more common.
  18. SPRING?!?!!?!? It jumped directly to SUMMER here!!!!
  19. The TJs challenge - stuff is so good, they can't keep it in stock. The other TJs challenge is they rearrange the store every few weeks
  20. A glass of milk and a pile of them to dip in it! HEAVEN!
  21. Well, they do that. It is tax deferred dollars in a traditional 401k (hoping a lower tax bracket at distribution time). Roth 401k is after-tax money so seemingly not ever taxed at distribution time.
  22. Sadly, I think there are a LOT of folks who like/admire/kiss up to Putin. We're headed more in that direction than away, so maybe Seagal is just an early adopter.
  23. If someone can't find things to love at TJs, they're trying too hard to be miserable.
