Got up about 5:30, jumped on the computer to check that my ankle bracelet was still tracking. Yup, no worries there. Waited about two hours then called in to my parole officer on a zoom call. He was grumpy about taking a Saturday morning call, but he set up the meeting. Took out three window air conditioners, made some minor repairs on one, then stored them away.
Spent some time reading The Americans - The National Experience by D. Boorstin and The Parolee's Guide to Rebuilding Reputation by A. G. Capone. Mrs. TK and I went to lunch at one of her favorite restaurants, and then we did some shopping for the grandkids.
Went to work on the garden tractor to replace the belt and two pulleys. The two 'compatible with your tractor' pulleys I had ordered were not, but that only became evident once the original parts were removed after some difficulty and a few ungentlemanly exhortations. The belt fit, though. Old pulleys went back on (with slightly fewer uncouth verbal encouragements); they were still in good shape. There were no parts left over. The non-compatible parts are getting sent back for refunds.
