The Netflix documentary series "Dirty Money" has an episode on the Pay Day Loan racket. The guy who started it, Scott Tucker, created an endurance racing team from all the money he was making with the exorbitant fees and sending people into bankruptcy. The episode starts by showing his race cars being repossessed. He never thought there was anything wrong with what he was doing. He was sent to jail for 16 years. It was an interesting watch.
