Gump Posted October 1, 2014 Share #1 Posted October 1, 2014 The sun is shining and it's in the mid 70's out. I've been in my office reviewing a management plan that could have been better written by a third grader. Some people need to be really thankful for the civil service system cause they wouldn't survive in the real world.

I used to work for the state government back when I lived in Florida through my college years. Those people should bow and pray they have a decent job, because their incompetence wouldn't last 1 week at a real company. That goes for about 70% of them. Chopped Liver Posted October 1, 2014 Share #4 Posted October 1, 2014 I've posted enough of the insanity I deal with. Thus the real world puts up with incompetence as well.

Longjohn ★ Posted October 1, 2014 Share #16 Posted October 1, 2014 I once tested for a civil service job. I could not believe how extensive that test was. They appeared to be looking for a highly qualified person for an entry level job. I was offered the job but turned it down because I was already making more money than they offered.
