Cancer Sucks Royal Version

I feel sorry for them.

Being the primary royal family member and always in public, worldwide limelight, makes even more difficult for them to confide at length to anyone outside their immediate family circle.  A major disease involving chemo, can often prompt a tremendous need to reach out and talk to others...not JUST your spouse nor doctor.

To confide to just your spouse, it's very burdensome on the recipient spouse.  It can be tiring for them to always hear "same" thing that they can't solve.  Different confidential but friendly support from 1-2 other sources, can be helpful for person.

@BuffJim  I would be surprised King  will live longer than 3-6 yrs. if he needs to continue chemo. Chemo can be toxic...to an aging body. Your body just becomes naturally weaker...in general.  This is why chemo was administered for my 85 yr. father ONLY in last 5 months of his life. He also had prostate cancer.  But before that lived well, since 79 yrs., lst yr. of diagnosis.  My sister-doc heard all the medical dr. specialists give their opinion.

Yes, my father could have had chemo earlier.  But that is NOT a cure for prostate cancer.  His quality of life/health would have degenerated even earlier in his years.

Maybe cancer slowdown treatments have advanced since 2014 (when my father died).

King Charles and now Kate.
Im not a Royal worshipper, but feel bad for Kate, her hubby and the kids.

Not fond of King Charles, but it sounds like his prognosis is quite serious.

Looks like they found Kate's early.  Elephant ears not so lucky.

Also a shame that people were hacking into her medical records and perhaps forced her to make a public statement before she and her family were ready.

Very wrong getting into medical records when they are not workers giving care at that point in time to use the info./record info.  In several Canadian provinces, it would be illegal.  Several workers have been fired.
