Spring air comes before summer air

Some people believe that there are only two types of air.  When in reality, there are 4.  

I just took off my studs and pumped up with spring air.  It smells like flowers.  @Randomguy

I gain a great sense of satisfaction of working on my tires.  There was a time, when I didn't have the know how.  Getting a flat was one a my big fears when going out alone.  I am very much a hack, but at least I know a few things to help keep me out of trouble.  I also always set my print correctly.  It has to be at the valve stem.

I never use spring air, I go straight to summer air. I tried spring air one time but it was too bouncy.

No.  It is better to freshen it.  Your air has gone stale.  Stale air leads to boring and sluggish rides.

I have spring air in the form of a new pump. On sale at my LBS for $96. I bought some new skinny tires too. 28C Bontrager hardcase. No flats. Slowly joining the roadie crowed.

Don't we have to actually have spring to use spring air.  I think this year we are going directly from winter air to summer air without the opportunity to use spring air.
