Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted March 2, 2020 Share #2 Posted March 2, 2020 I have. It's entertaining television. My son loves it and watches every episode. He says it's the greatest show ever. The Assistant Manager at the LBS also loves it, but he likes the devil's lettuce too so there is that.

MickinMD ★ Posted March 2, 2020 Share #4 Posted March 2, 2020 Thanks for mentioning the series. Today, virtually no one can see all the top series because they're on one or two of Amazon, Netflix, HULU, etc. I found, and downloaded the first season and watched the very first episode. VERY entertaining! Since they'll only 22 min. per episode, I may go through all 8 seasons this year.

I have always said it is like Corner Gas meets TPBs, but figured none of the 'merican's would know Corner Gas, so I used SC instead. You have to play the audience (notice I didn't say 'dumb it down')

Yes, for sure. Some were a little too close to the real thing
Dottleshead ★ Posted March 2, 2020 Share #11 Posted March 2, 2020 So what's LetterKenny about? Please don't make me google it. I'm trying to have a social interaction.
Dottleshead ★ Posted March 2, 2020 Share #12 Posted March 2, 2020 Damn it! I googled it anyway. This comedy series showcases the antics of the residents of Letterkenny, a small rural community in Canada. Siblings Wayne and Katy run a small farm and produce stand, with Wayne's friends Daryl and "Squirrely" Dan helping out. Many of the town's inhabitants fall into one of several groups, which include the farmers, or "hicks," the out-of-towners on the local hockey team, the local drug addicts and the "natives," who are members of the local First Nation. "Letterkenny" began its life as a YouTube series called "Letterkenny Problems."
Square Wheels Posted March 2, 2020 Share #13 Posted March 2, 2020 I have never heard of or seen any of these shows. I suspect my IQ has not plummeted due to this good fortune.
