I had a dream I got on the bus in Vancouver, BC while my wife remained at the hotel and then I went to the Vancouver Expo and was looking to buy Rush tickets. But my wife didn't know where I was at and the gal selling tickets didn't trust me and made me empty all my pockets and bags as if I was at an airport security check. She then proceeded to leave to see if she could get me tickets for the sold out show while I got on the phone with my wife and explained to her that I had jumped on public transportation, and hoped she wasn't mad at me for leaving her behind. She then told me she was having trouble with the pellet stove and I told her to not worry about it and shut it off and to come on over. She sounded relieved. Anyway, I was looking to see where a certain area of town was and asked a lady sitting at a booth where I would find it and I then as and realized Rush was playing in town that night and thought I should inquire about tickets. While I was talking to her she began to interrogate me about what I was doing there and I was trying to convince her I wasn't some kind of troublemaker. Anyway, the lady brought me back two tickets to the show and didn't charge me anything. I was going to surprise me wife by buying them but they were for free! I didn't ask the seat because they were free for gawd sakes and I knew my wife would be elated. I then realized I had not explained to my wife where I was and where to meet me as I was in an unfamiliar part of town. I didn't really know for sure. The next thing I know I'm transported into the passenger seat of our car and she's driving. She spun out and lost control in traffic and did a 360 before landing safely in the oncoming traffic lane. I reached down, and looked at our tickets. I could barely make out that they said Rush on them but I could quite clearly see the opening act was the lead singer for Yes. I thought ok -- we're getting some fantasy rock tonight. But then I became panic stricken when I noticed the clock said 11 p.m. and we were not at the show yet. Who the hell plays a concert after 11?? I then woke up. Surreal enough?

Back in 1972, a couple dozen of us spend a couple weeks at a college friend's father's big house in Ocean City, Maryland. One guy, Greg, delayed coming to the ocean for a couple days so he could buy tickets for us to the next month's Yes concert in Columbia, Maryland when they first went on sale. Greg arrived with the tickets and said, "Guess who the opening act for Yes is? The Eagles!" You're dream is kind of the reverse of one of the best concerts I ever attended!

How ironic, Dottie...your dream destination is actually a nearly failed casino in reality.
shootingstar Posted March 9, 2020 Share #20 Posted March 9, 2020 It feels very strange to have bought a stock that fell and shot back up within about 1-2 hrs. today. I have never had this happen in 1 day. That was the only bright glimmer, and the rest kinda flopped on the downward surf or fell into the water and now paddling. Not standing up.
