  1. If you ever have to ask this question again, the answer is always 'Waffle House'.
  2. Those will look legendary on you!
  3. I really like this guy, seems a very decent sort. He could definitely deliver some authentic frontier gibberish if he really wanted to.
  4. He is related to motorboat69, I think.
  5. I am still waiting for SWs to come pick me up.
  6. Do you need us all to come out and help you move?
  7. They seem pretty well bonded, don't they? It would be hard to break them up, I think.
  8. Yeah, I laughed at it at first, and for quite a while. Sure, it was hokey, but I grew to love it!
  9. Hell, there is still time to start watching football. If you do, the draft represents hope/potential, all that stuff. It is fun to see what teams do. Except Atlanta, that was stupid.
  10. They aren't mandatory, and they can be a lot of work. Plus the incredible heartache when they get sick and die and all, I still scarred from that. Enjoy your freedom, maybe you'll want a pet when you are old and frail and such.
  11. When I first lived in Boulder, I came home from work one day to find a strange dog in the fenced-in yard playing with my dog, a super friendly pit bull named Noel. The tag also had the phone number, I called and the owners came over to collect the dog. I got the story when they were over, apparently this dog is Houdini and no fence can contain her. During the day, she just jumped into other people's yards to play with whatever dogs were there. My house was probably a quarter mile away and had a six-foot wood fence, so it would have had to jump over many fences to get in my yard. Over the next six months or so before I moved to a new place, Noel showed up in the yard another half dozen times or so. I thought it was great that my dog got to romp around with a buddy instead of just doing nothing until I came home. I usually just called the owners, but I walked the dog home once to see that they had a hugely tall wood fence that this dog apparently could easily scale/jump/parkour out of.
  12. Yeah, a Chrysler Lebaron wagon. I liked it, and I liked the fake wood, too. It looked kinda like this, but the wheels were less pimpy.
  13. In the first Planet of the Apes movie, Taylor exhibits all kinds of traits that aren't exactly the best for an astronaut. Super emotional, impulsive, egotistical, bossy, on his high horse, arrogant as hell, reactive, goes 100mph on the first thing that comes to his mind rather than calmly assessing a situation/problem. He would be the last guy I would pick as an astronaut. I do like his choice amongst the native humans, though, Nova is sexy as hell.
