Got my flu shot at work today

Last year I had a sore arm for a week after my flu shot, I mentioned that to the girl giving the shot.

She said she would be gentle. 

I looked away......

...she said all done. I don't know if she gave me a shot or not, I did not feel it.

I had the same experience. Last year a bruise. This year no issue.

I'm getting my flu shot tomorrow.  If I had gotten it last week during my type-2 diabetic blood test, I would have had a $15 copay instead of $0.  But my follow-up visit with the doctor is $15 anyway and the shot adds nothing to it.

A weird twist to the combination Medicare + BCBS Medicare Supplemental insurance I have.

I got the high dose this year.  They arm was sore for about 48 hours beginning that evening.

I was scheduled to get my flu shot when I had my doctor appointment and the doctor sent me to get lab work and we both forgot about the flew shot.

The hospice nurse said that they normally give flu shots to their patients. He said this year they are not providing them. He said if we can get the shot he can administer it. Not sure how that’s going to work out.
