KrAzY Posted December 22, 2014 Share #1 Posted December 22, 2014 I was carrying our puppy in from the car after being at the vets. So far the diagnosis of her injury is unknown, but they are thing it is arthritis. She is just over a year old now. :(
Square Wheels Posted December 22, 2014 Share #2 Posted December 22, 2014 She too probably pulled a muscle. Arthritis seems young for a 1 year old dog.
KrAzY Posted December 22, 2014 Author Share #3 Posted December 22, 2014 She too probably pulled a muscle. Arthritis seems young for a 1 year old dog. she is extremely lanky and the Vet says it puts a lot of pressure on her joints... We will see what the out come is after all the blood work is done. KrAzY Posted December 23, 2014 Author Share #6 Posted December 23, 2014 healing thoughts to lanky puppy! Thanks, right now she is sleeping on the bed.. she cried at me from the other room until I got up and lifted her onto the bed... this leg injury has really slowed her down. normally we would have played fetch for 6 hours today... not once have I had to tear a tennis ball from her mouth

KrAzY Posted December 23, 2014 Author Share #12 Posted December 23, 2014 Well Kray pup put a little weight onto her foot this morning, but she is still lifting it as she walks around the house. I think in the next few days she will be back to using her leg again...
Square Wheels Posted December 23, 2014 Share #13 Posted December 23, 2014 Could it be a pad issue? Maybe she has a cut or a splinter?
KrAzY Posted December 23, 2014 Author Share #14 Posted December 23, 2014 Could it be a pad issue? Maybe she has a cut or a splinter? not the pad... she is sore in the femur area of her leg. When palpitated she whimpers... this dog is a tough cookie to make whimper
