AirwickWithCheese Posted December 4, 2013 Share #1 Posted December 4, 2013 I decided I wanted a vintage aluminum Christmas tree. Got lucky on my initial search and found 1 in my own neighborhood. B tree, B price. I can do better, thought I. So I educated myself on what brand, how many branches, how much $. Problem is, they are very popular now. I'm not the only one wanting to be transported back in time to Christmas 1977. But, I am only willing to pay a certain amount. The battle now rages for my desire to relive the past against my desire to not pay too much. But, I also want my aluminum tree tonight. :(

team scooter Posted December 4, 2013 Share #8 Posted December 4, 2013 Anything that has vintage in the title will be expensive. Look at me, I bought a little dirt bike this spring. And I paid double what it cost new in 1970. But I love it and they'll need to pry it from my cold dead hands when the time comes. Just do it. And post pics. Interestingly, its about five minutes from my dads house. What do you think shipping would cost? If I knew last week, I could have picked it up and met you in Clarksville. You could have taken the last train. :D
