Frank Calico Cat Posted September 14, 2017 Share #1 Posted September 14, 2017 But it will not be the old horizontal clothesline across 2 metal t bars. Instead, it will be a revolving carousel 9 ft in the air on a wrought iron pole that looks like a Victorian street light. Flower baskets will drape 2 sides like in Pella, Iowa. The carousel will need to be on an elevator like hydrolic piston to go up and down. 9 - 12ft tall so neighbors can see the magnificence of your rotating clothesline in the sun. Wilbur ★ Posted September 14, 2017 Share #4 Posted September 14, 2017 I liked the straight line mom had from the back porch to a 90 foot fir tree in the back yard. You could see it diagonally across the yard from my bedroom window. It was mesmerizing as a kid to watch the accumulating raindrops build and eventually run down the line, colliding with other droplets until it reached the low point and fell 15 feet to the ground. Clotheslines are an underrated luxury.

tybeegb Posted September 14, 2017 Share #8 Posted September 14, 2017 I've never lived in a house without a clothesline. Doesn't seem like a home without one. 1
