MoseySusan Posted September 17, 2019 Share #1 Posted September 17, 2019 I don’t think I can sustain scoring student work for longer than three hours at a time. I’m going to need seven straight days of three hour blocks of time to catch up. And no new assignments in the meantime. Grades are due next Wednesday. I should probably retire.

jsharr ★ Posted September 17, 2019 Share #8 Posted September 17, 2019 Fail them all. Get a TA to stamp them all with this, first on their assignments then on their foreheads if they have the audacity to question the grade

maddmaxx ★ Posted September 17, 2019 Share #18 Posted September 17, 2019 Welcome to the world of teachers who take their job seriously. My mother was a teacher and a principal. Isn't that to make up for all the vacation time - especially the Summer????? If you average it out, it's gotta be like 6 hour work days - and only if they are taking it seriously.
