  1. When I had a 99 Land Rover Discovery 2, I got 13 to 14 not pulling. And 12 to 13 pulling a 6X12 U-Haul trailer.
  2. One of these? https://www.rvusa.com/rv-guide/specs-by-model-2011-fleetwood-jamboree-sport-class-c-m1073-y2011-t3
  3. So how fast do you (or your wife) drive the RV? That may be a cheaper fix. I remember WoBG driving my Prius from Streator to Peoria to visit me when I was in the hospital. I was there for maybe a week. When I got home I filled the tank. She got 43 mpg. I asked her just how fast did you go? I get 60 mpg driving that route this time of the year. Nice ride movable home.
  4. From our visit to the area. Not in any order. The Redwood forest, Crater Late, Oregon Dunes National Recreation (we went on a dune buggy ride), there is river rafting on the Rogue River in Oregon, Mt St Helens, Multnomah Falls (and others), Mt Hood. Most of our vacations were places we could hike. You don't need to hike at these places,
  5. Congratulations... Maybe somewhere where the roads are paved, and don't have potholes every few feet.
  6. OK... I had to look to 'see' the color. Viva Magenta 18-1750
  7. No. I never knew about pumpkin for dogs. https://www.akc.org/expert-advice/health/can-pumpkin-help-with-dog-diarrhea/ Thanks... I'll have to buy some. So far Parker is dong jsut fine today. I have no idea what caused him to get sick.
  8. My Garmin Fenix 6 I have 3 watch bands and I use a different watch face, (not using the 24 hr format)
  9. Canada Labour Force Participation Rate dropped to 64.9 % in Dec 2022, compared with 65.1 % in the previous month. Link It appears you count unemployment rates just like we do.
  10. I created an Excel spreadsheet that was used by just about everyone in our dept. for a year. Maybe 60 people, most were in different offices across the company. The first version... I got calls "Your spreadsheet doesn't work." I had bootleg copy of a screen share program from IT... I'd connect to thier computer... and have them show me exactly what they did. Yeah I had to issue a revised spreadsheet with error trapping, etc.. The calls slowed down... but even more ingenious evil users found ways to blow up the macros. Over the year I had to issue a few more upgraded spreadsheets.
  11. Pfft... Yeah... I didn't sleep very well last night. One of our dogs was sick yesterday afternoon and night. He seems better today. We went out to a late lunch with friends. When we got home we found... dog poop and diarrhea. The good news... our dog was nice enough to go on 2 of the runner rugs we have over the hard wood floors. (the rugs are there so don't slide and can walk) I got to use our carpet cleaner. We didn't know which dog left us the presents. About an hour later we found out. Parker started running to the door to the garage. He never got that far... This time I got to clean the hardwood floor. I took him outside at least 4 more times.... He walked over and started to drink some water. I picked him up to stop that. Maybe 5 minutes later he started 'heaving'... yeah... I got him into a bathroom over a sink just in time for the puke. After all of that... I figured... possibly the diarrhea wasn't done. I slept fully dressed (so I could grab the dog and take him outside) on the couch with the dog. We were close to the door so a quick exit would be easy. Sleep was interrupted at least 4 times... Parker got up... moved around and laid back down. But that woke me up each time. And of course once I had to get up to pee too. So now... I'm taking it easy. Parker has been eating today. And no puke... Still waiting to see what happens with the other end of the dog later today. Hopefully nothing.
  12. No. I haven't watched any sports for years. Not going to start now. Don't even know who will be playing in the game. Hang out at the house after walking the dogs. It's will be 51 here. I probably wash our 3 cars. We will figure that out on Sunday. My jeans are blue.
  13. I just visited the IRS Where is my refund? web page. My refund has been approved and on 2/13 the money should be deposited into my account. 9 days to get my refund.
  14. Our last trip with a passport was to Italy in 2008.
  15. Drilling into power wires isn't a good thing to do. Punching a hole into a plastic waste water pipe wouldn't be very good either.
  16. It was 45 here with rain for most of the day.
  17. That means I'd have to go out and get a job. I say hello to the dogs and then take them outside.
  18. That's just a wakeup call (or test) for what could (or will) come later. But... most people here are still sleeping.
  19. This... My doc told me this years ago. I know this... But pizza and beer is good. Metamucil helps...
  20. Of course not. Many people can't even afford the stuff that's made in China. Go to just about any store.. look at the labels on the boxes where most of the kitchen small appliances are made. Good luck finding stuff made in the US. Look at the labels where cloths are made. etc... a VAST majority of the stuff is not made in the US. Then there is this.. Here is an article was form 2016. A 'Made in America' iPhone Would Cost $2,000, Studies Show Apparently now Apple is working to move some production out of China. That doesn't mean it will be moved to the US. And it looks like their stuff will cost more after the move. The problem with that... is we will be the ones that will be hurt. China doesn't have to go to war against the US. All they need to do is stop making our stuff for 6 months to a year. We will be begging them to make our stuff again.
  21. Nope... I would not ever consider that.
