I suppose that could be done, too. That said, this was a pure convenience play. Next time I buy fresh, I may form and freeze a burger patty for comparison. It might take me a while to finish these burgers first, though.
I finished round 2 just a couple of minutes ago. This time was largely improved from not too much overcooking, this one turned out 'medium'. A little more tweaking, and I think I will have it.
I do think the convenience factor is very high, you don't have to go to the store and buy burger fixings when all you really want to do is quickly make and eat something substantial.
Is it gourmet? Nope. Is fast and little fuss? Yes, and that convenience might be worth it for some of you bastards, you'd have to decide that for yourselves.
