Dirtyhip Posted August 11, 2014 Share #1 Posted August 11, 2014 I noticed some sticky residue on my shock stanchions about three days ago. I clean them after every ride and try to keep the seal area clean. Well, the oily gunk showed up again after the next ride. It appears that I have blown the seal on my front shock. I'm happy for you two. I think it's great that you're doing financially well enough to hire a cook.

jsharr Posted August 11, 2014 Share #8 Posted August 11, 2014 My son has been riding the 1983 Cannondale. He tends to be hard on bikes. I have to replace the rear derailleur, rewrap the bars, recenter the brake levers on the bars and recable the brakes. Luckily a buddy is going to give me a RD out of his parts box.
