Prophet Zacharia Posted December 29, 2020 Share #1 Posted December 29, 2020 And what the hell is the story, other than their ice cream sucked this year?
MickinMD ★ Posted December 29, 2020 Share #2 Posted December 29, 2020 I think the story is that Baskin was Robbins brother-in-law.
Razors Edge ★ Posted December 29, 2020 Share #3 Posted December 29, 2020 They are right next door to one of our local Giant grocery stores. A regular cone at Baskins is the same price as a quart & a half container at Giant. Eating my ice cream cone while hanging out at a grocery store strip mall is not my idea of a "winning" business model anymore. On the flipside, back in 1982 or so, my sisters worked at the B&R in Ardmore PA. I'd say that place was lucky to survive them and their friends! Free ice cream galore and LOT AND LOTS of whip-its!!!! jsharr ★ Posted December 29, 2020 Share #5 Posted December 29, 2020 Both Baskin and Robbins owe their success to Johnson and what grew from one flavor to 28.
BuffJim Posted December 29, 2020 Share #6 Posted December 29, 2020 Didn’t Baskins get eaten by a Tiger?
