Not sure about that... wasn't the original completion date in October??     That would be at least 3 months past the due date.

We'll see if Mick or DH go more than 3 months past the due date.:P

True day. I say @MickinMD Has more chance for delay because of the covid factor. People in KF are more right wingers.

We got more electrical today.  Looks almost complete for that.  Need my undercab lights installed. Need plumbing finished.

So close now.

When do they predict that your house will be done?

My contractor is still hoping he'll be done and I'll be in by the end of June.

The flooring is not done, the wiring is done but no electrical outlets, etc. installed.  The plumbing connections to the washer/dryer closet are there and new outdoor water faucets are there, but I don't know how much other plumbing has been done.  The furnace and central air conditioner are not in.  The bathtub is installed but nothing else in the bathroom.

The sheetrock, doors and windows are all up and all painted, the cabinets are in.  The refrigerator and washer/dryer have been delivered.  I've been delaying putting in my choices for gas range, above range microwave, and dishwasher because I've been hoping for new stuff to appear, but that didn't happen and I expect to put my list (4-5 of each, hoping one is available) tomorrow.

The contractor's interior expert said, "Things go fast after the sheetrock is up," but that was before major delays in getting inspectors out to the house, weeks instead of next-day, began.

The additional roof extension I paid $7000+ for over the basement steps has not been done and "it goes on a seperate permit" which probably means it will be done after I'm back in the house.

The refrigerator goes in the space at right, leaving an 8" space to put brooms, etc.  The dishwasher goes in the empty space at left.  The gas range and microwave go to the left of the dishwasher.

The washer/dryer (pic below) go in this closet, which is on the left of the wall opposite where the refrigerator goes above.

The kitchen opens out to this porch - the little bit of wall on the left is the right wall of the washer/dryer closet above.  There is an exterior door separating the kitchen from the porch, but I'll use some of it it as a storage extension of the kitchen and maybe remove that door's hinge pins during part of the year.
