Of course.

Good information to know.  We keep this in your Parody History File.  It can affect your rating.

Like asking college kids about old school telephones, do you think Ethel or Lucille ring a bell to them?

Maybe just the history or anthropology majors?

Yes.

Also, now that Johnny Carson has been brought up, I bet he doesn't ring a bell with a growing segment of the population.  Probably approaching a majority, which is a bit frightening.

Keep in mind, a majority of Americans were 12 & under when he retired, so in about six years or so, the majority will have likely never been up late enough to regularly enjoy the Tonight Show.

Hey @bikeman564™, where is Johnny Carson in your memory banks?

Front & center. I've seen Carson when he was on the tube. I currently watch him in reruns on the Antenna TV channel. I appreciate it more now though, and find it funnier :D

Come to think of it, we get old Carson reruns on our cable channels.  I have a few recorded like Mork & Mindy era Robin Williams and pre-Seinfeld Jerry.  It is neat because it is not just that one person, but often a few good guests.  The "current news" jokes in the monologue are interesting.
